B.A.G. Corp.® has the premier comprehensive FIBC test facility for solving bulk bag application problems. Customers can witness filling, discharging, handling and shipping problems using their own product under full scale production conditions with state-of-the-art fill and discharge systems. We will recommend and develop Super Sack® containers and equipment that will work with any product, at a price that you can afford.

This test facility contains the equipment necessary to complete a full range of certification and classification testing including:

DOT (Department of Transportation)*
UN (United Nations Certification) for Packaging Group I, II, and III.
IMDGC (International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code)
EFIBCA®** (European Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Association Standards)
IPPS (Institute of Packaging Professionals Standards)
British Standard or NEL (National Engineering Laboratory)

* B.A.G. Corp. produced packaging only
** EFIBCA is a registered trademark of the European Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Association

Test Criteria for FIBCs include drop impact, stacking, tear, top lift, topple, and righting. FIBC performance standards include sifting, static, bridging, vibration, bottom lift, top lift stacking, drop, topple, righting, and tear.

Unique features offered:

Handling dry bulk products in FIBCs can produce electrostatic discharges. In flammable atmospheres, the effect could be a harmful dust or vapor explosion. B.A.G. Corp. offers a comprehensive Electrostatic Laboratory for testing static dissipating or conductive FIBC containers and liners. The lab is equipped with unique features, including climate control capability with temperature ranges from 40 to 140 degree Fahrenheit and humidity ranges from zero to 99% relative humidity. A full range of electrostatic testing is available to determine surface resistivity, volume resistivity, brush discharge, and fabric charge relaxation times for FIBC fabrics and liners. Explosion chambers are used to determine an FIBC's effectiveness in hydrocarbon/air environments.
