BAG Corp salutes those who dare to dream-those who are courageous-and those who are making their dreams a reality.
March 4th through the 10th, we celebrate Women in Construction Week. The focus of this week is to highlight women as contributors to the construction industry. NAWIC members across the country raise awareness of the opportunities for women in the construction industry and emphasize the growing role of women.
"Women work in every facet of construction in critically important roles," said NAWIC President Connie M. Leipard, CIT. "This increased visibility will promote the recruitment of more women and encourage others to start careers in construction. This will ultimately ease the workforce shortage in the industry."
WIC Week helps advance the NAWIC’s core purpose: To enhance the success of women in the construction industry. Their core values: Belief in ourselves as women. Perseverance. We dare to move into new horizons.
BAG Corp, a certified Women’s Business Enterprise, has been a dedicated partner and provider to the construction industry for more than four decades. At BAG Corp, we offer our wholehearted support to women in construction and honor those who are courageous and dare to dream.
The national standard of certification, implemented by the Women’s Business Council, is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection, designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.
