BAG Corp laced up their spikes and gave back to the local community by Teeing Off for the Chargers on Monday, October 12, 2015 at Gleneagles Country Club. The golf tournament was in support of the Shelton Athletics Department and for Tuition Assistance.
How did the quartet of ball strikers from the leader in flexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBC) fare in the tournament? Let’s just say they have decided to continue providing bulk handling solutions instead of waiting for the PGA to call. The real winners were the kids at Shelton School.
Shelton School serves close to 850 students with learning differences, including dyslexia and related disorders. Students with dyslexia have challenges with reading, decoding, spelling, and written expression. Other students with related disorders may or may not have dyslexia, but do have difficulty with reading comprehension, math, written expression, and often have struggles with organization and attention. The school provides specific instruction/remediation for students pre-school (3 years of age) through 12th grade in a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. Drama, music, art, library, and PE/athletics enhance the total school program.
